VHF FM and DAB reception
We have considerable experience in providing VHF FM and DAB receive aerials at radio station studios for off-air monitoring, where the transmission site is remote from the studio and reception is difficult.
Two DAB dipoles phased to reject the signals from a very close transmitter that were swamping the desired remote signals, whilst otherwise allowing all-round reception.

This is a special narrowband VHF FM yagi designed for reception of the radio station’s remote relay transmitter, which was out of area and provided only a very weak signal.

Restricted Service Licence FM radio stations are normally community or event centred, with coverage of just a few miles. The licence can be indefinite (renewable) or short term. Transmission powers are normally 25 or 50W erp and the transmission antenna is usually on the studio roof. TV reception
We have installed TV reception equipment at a large number of broadcast facilities, including the Arqiva network monitoring station at the Emley Moor transmission site, BBC Leeds, Reuters TV, Reuters Press, CBC, NHK, CNN, and TV5 Monde.
